Building Sustainability into the core business of Teaching and Learning

VU has resolved to progressively embed EfS across all courses and programs, and align various changes that this required with other key learning and teaching initiatives at our University. In this session, participants will discuss the most successful ways of embedding Education for Sustainability (EfS) into the courses and programs of tertiary institutions, using the case study of VU to reflect on. Facilitated discussion will include identification of issues and barriers encountered on this journey of change, and how changes in learning and teaching can be supported by parallel developments in sustainability performance for campus facilities and community-related activities.
