National Wine Centre of Australia

The Food – The Wine – The Experience

The National Wine Centre of Australia is an architectural treat but what is holds inside is the real attraction. Situated on the edge of Adelaide’s stunning Botanic Garden it is a combination of eye-catching architecture and smooth functionality. It is an exciting tourism venue that not only showcases the entire Australian Wine Industry, and also features spectacular architecture, natural lighting, outdoor terrace areas with views of the Centre’s vineyard and Botanic Gardens.

The 2011 ACTS Conference will take place in The Hickinbothan Hall, the centre’s premier venue. The room is dominated by a stunning wooden ceiling that rises to 23 metres. The Hickinbotham Hall overlooks the outdoor terrace area and vineyard and also features 100-year-old jarrah floorboard and a spectacular rammed earth wall that serves as an amazing backdrop for presentations.
