What do our previous winners say?…
“We were thrilled to win the Green Gown Award for our student led ‘Tap It’ campaign. This win recognised our sustainability efforts and validated our campaign approach, which brought many students and staff together. It has also raised awareness across campus on our objectives and how students can be involved.” Cindy Cunningham, Sustainability Engagement Office – Macquarie University.
“The Award has celebrated the power of collaborative effort. Where once silos prevailed, we now have a clear model for future collaborations. These collaborations provide students and staff with a stake in the future of the campus and a unique opportunity to have practical input into how the campus develops. Recognising peoples efforts goes a long way to validating input and effort and encouraging pride amongst staff members – everyone has had a go at having the award on their desk! Its a great conversation starter”. Beth Mitchell, Sustainability Planner, University of Canberra.
