Reducing emissions relies on every single person in an organisation being aware of the carbon impacts of their choices, and feeling motivated and supported to take action.

Our online Carbon Literacy course is a blended learning experience, with self-study elements alongside 2 half days virtual training, and is relevant climate change learning for everyone. Designed and developed by the UQ Business School, and accredited by the UK based Carbon Literacy Project (CLP), the course brings together information, videos, science backed data and online measurement and simulation tools to build a comprehensive understanding of carbon and greenhouse gas emissions and their sources.

This course is tailored to the university sector, and to support learners to identify practical steps they can take to get involved in your organisation’s low carbon journey.

By the end of the course you will:

– Understand the basics of climate change science and how we know it’s a problem

– Understand how climate change is impacting us all now and how it will in the future

– Have explored pathways to a net-zero world, including systemic and individual solutions

– Be able to identify ways that you and your organisation can take action to reduce emissions
