The Green Gown Awards Australasia are the region’s premier sustainability awards for universities, TAFEs, polytechnics and other tertiary education institutions. The Awards recognise outstanding leadership, innovation and measurable impact across campus operations, teaching and learning, research, community engagement and institutional strategy.
Bringing together sustainability professionals, senior leaders, academics, students and sector partners from across Australia and Aotearoa New Zealand, the 2026 Ceremony and Gala Dinner will showcase this year’s finalists and reveal the recipients of the 2026 Green Gown Awards Australasia.
More than an awards ceremony, the evening is an opportunity to celebrate the collective achievements of our sector, connect with colleagues and be inspired by the initiatives shaping a more sustainable future.
The Ceremony and Gala Dinner form part of the 2026 ACTS Conference: The Future of Sustainability, hosted by Griffith University during ACTS’ 20th anniversary year. Attendance is included with eligible conference registrations or can be purchased separately.
