Institutions have a vital role to play in the global transition towards a circular economy. By growing momentum through teaching and learning, research and student action; utilising campuses as living labs, and; using purchasing power and progressive procurement to make campus operations and supply chains more circular; there is significant scope for the sector to ‘close the loop’.

ACTS members that are taking steps to reduce their reliance on linear waste models are invited to share their experiences in this roundtable. This roundtable will follow on from the first Circular Economy roundtable held in May; introducing new active participants and continuing discussion points from the previous session.

What are member roundtables?

Member roundtables are a fantastic opportunity for you to connect in an informal virtual setting to share ideas, challenges and practical solutions with colleagues from across the ACTS network.

Each meeting will be limited to a small number of active participants, allowing everyone the opportunity to share experiences from their institution on the roundtable topic. Members can also register as listen-only participants (while still able to submit questions for discussion).

There is no expectation for institutions to be doing everything perfectly (in reference to the roundtable topic), rather this is an opportunity to connect with fellow members within the ACTS community who are addressing similar challenges, and taking advantage of similar opportunities!

Whether you’re working on a specific projects, or a range of solutions, we’d love to hear from you!
