As a sector responsible for educating future leaders and innovators, tertiary education institutions have a responsibility to model best practices for sustainable operations and infrastructure, while also preparing their communities to adapt to the challenges of climate change. By taking proactive steps to reduce carbon emissions, increase energy efficiency, and build resilience to climate impacts, institutions can demonstrate their commitment to sustainability and provide leadership as key partners in cross-sector collaborations.

Member roundtables are an opportunity for sustainability educators and practitioners to connect in an informal virtual setting to share ideas, challenges and practical solutions with colleagues from across the ACTS network.

Each meeting will be limited to a small number of active participants, allowing everyone the opportunity to share experiences from their institution on the roundtable topic. Members can also register as listen-only participants (while still able to submit questions for discussion).

There is no expectation for organisations to be doing everything perfectly (in reference to the roundtable topic), rather this is an opportunity to connect with fellow members within the ACTS community who are addressing similar challenges, and taking advantage of similar opportunities!
