Roundtables are an opportunity for members to connect in an informal virtual setting to share ideas, challenges and practical solutions with colleagues from across the ACTS network.

Each roundtable meeting is limited to a small number of active participants, each allocated time to provide an update of their institutions activities, initiatives and plans relating to the roundtable topic.

Members can either apply to be active participants, or register as listen-only attendees, where they can hear what our active participants have to share, whilst still having the opportunity to submit questions and contribute to general discussions.

Members can apply to become active participants of upcoming meetings, or register to attend as a listen-only attendee using the links below.

The website listing has recently undergone an upgrade to make it more streamlined and easier to see at a glance all current members, as well as highlights of their sustainability commitments, certifications and accolades.

The Directory is a useful page to bookmark for quick reference to ACTS Member's sustainability websites, as well as as any published sustainability strategies, plans and/or reports.

GOLD STARS FOR UNIVERSITY OF TASMANIA
The University of Tasmania has become the first Australasian Gold rated institution in the Sustainability Tracking, Assessment & Rating System (STARS). A STARS score results from a self-reporting effort that is peer reviewed by another university and then put through a data accuracy process by AASHE. UTAS achieved 73.8% of available points, which is well above the 65% required to reach Gold.

The full University of Tasmania STARS submission is publicly available.

With more than 1000 participants in 40 countries, the STARS program is the most widely recognised framework in the world for publicly reporting comprehensive information related to a university’s sustainability performance.

University Chief Sustainability Officer, Corey Peterson, noted that ‘advancing to a Gold rating recognises the significant efforts over the last two years from our staff across all Colleges and Divisions as well as our student partners. Together, we have progressed significantly on our sustainability journey, including identifying new opportunities to deliver holistic outcomes.’
